What could possibly be next for Sam Raimi after helming Spidey 4? Well, your friendly neighbourhood director is heading Warcraft-wards - World of Warcraft, that is. Yes, a World of Warcraft movie (titled "Warcraft"), directed by that legendary creator of The Evil Dead. Bizarre, no?


Whether it will be based on the game itself, featuring specific characters, quests, or levels is anyone's guess - there are a load of novels and spin-offs to adapt, so the mythical material could come from anywhere. Still, with The Dark Knight producer Charles Roven overseeing the project, maybe the Warner Bros. film will do justice to the MMORPG (that's Massively-Multiplayer-Online-Role-Playing-Game for us normal people).


If not, there'll be 12 million subscribers waiting to jinx him, or curse him, or whatever it is these people do online all day.
