It's nothing often you get terrified by an empty dark room - well, it isn't if you're not someone with an overactive imagination like me. But Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is a nerve-jangling experience that nails the simple effect of not revealing the little monsters making things go bump in the night.


As Troy Nixey's film gears up for its premiere at FrightFest this week, here's a quick look at how the Guillermo del Toro-produced affair was put together.
