After long months of waiting, Peggy and Frosty fans can be happy to see the teaser trailer for Paul. And when they say teaser, they mean teaser - it doesn't show you much. A sci-fi comedy about an alien (called Paul) who gatecrashes a road trip across America by two British geeks. That's about all you're getting from this video, apart from a few lines from Seth Rogen's foul-mouthed E.T.
The rest is just namedrops, although they are pretty impressive names: Greg Mottola (of Adventureland fame) at the helm, Jason Bateman and Sigourney Weaver in the supporting cast, and a bit of Kristen Wiig to boot.
This could be amazing. It's certainly a bit more promising than Burke & Hare. But it's also a complete cypher. Paul will be unveiled properly next February. Read on for the video.

Ever since Slither, fans of James Gunn have been looking forward to Super with hope in their eyes. And now their retinas have something to show for it: the first Super clip, thanks to the Scream Awards. The twisted superhero spoof sees everyday man Frank (Rainn Wilson) transforms into The Crimson Bolt after his wife Sarah (Liv Tyler) gets off with Jacques (Kevin Bacon), a drug dealer. Of course, Frank's got no super powers. He does, however, have a wrench.
Including Ellen Page as a cute psychopath sidekick, Super is still suffering from following the similarly-themed Kick-Ass, but could still pack a punch of its own to your funny bone.
It got bought up at the Toronto International Film Festival, so it's definitely on the way to being distributed somewhere. At some point. Until then, keep counting down the days until we see Nathan Fillion on the big screen again.

Imagine you're Mel Gibson. You're in a bit of hot water after some questionable outbursts of violent, sexist and/or racist behaviour, and you want to rehabilitate that old twinkly Mel image. Where do you turn to? The Hangover 2, of course. Yes, Mel Gibson is reported to have a cameo appearance in the sequel to Todd Phillips' comedy hit - an interesting choice of guest roles, given the lack of political correctness from the cast the first time round.
Still, turning up as a tattoo artist in the film will boost the box office takings. And it'll give Gibson a chance to remind people that he has a sense of humour. Just hopefully not the kind of humour that involves beating up women and insulting religious groups.
Mel will film his part in two weeks time.

David O Russell has dropped out of the adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, the comedy horror period costume drama lost out to Old St. Louis in the director's schedule. Opting instead to work with Vince Vaughn on the comedy drama (without zombies or period costumes), the conflict came about thanks to Natalie Portman, who was unable to meet David's start date.
Planning to shoot Old St. Louis early next year, the reshuffle has caused Scarlett Johansson to abandon the role of Vince Vaughn's romantic interest. Although it has freed up the chance for Chloe Moretz to join in as Vaughn's estranged teenage daughter. Who presumably won't be a vampire. Or a zombie.
There's no word from Lionsgate that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies won't take place, despite Portman being a producer on the picture. So now the studio will be on the hunt for a helmer to revive this dead undead movie. Before it stays... not alive.

Pegg and Serkis were always a promising line-up for Burke and Hare, the body-snatching/corpse-selling duo of the 1820s. And now that promise has been firmly delivered upon with the film's first trailer. Burke (Simon Pegg) and Hare (Andy Serkis) went from Northern Ireland to Scotland in the 1800s, promptly setting themselves up a business of selling off cadavers to Edinburgh's brightest medical institutions. But when grave-robbing ran dry, they had to turn to other, more murderous means of supply. Like murder.
Packed with talent as varied as Jessica Hynes, Isla Fisher, Tim Curry, Christopher Lee, Stephen Merchant, Jenny Agutter, Bill Bailey and Ronnie Corbett, Burke and Hare is shaping up to be a blood-soaked fest of daft humour and over-the-top gore. Which is exactly what you'd expect from director John Landis.
Burke and Hare is out in UK cinemas on Friday 29th October. Read on for the full trailer.

After the box office success of The Hangover, everyone wondered what Todd Phillips would do next - so when the first Due Date trailer arrived a while back, it wasn't a massive surprise that he chose to stick with hairy star Zach Galifianakis. It's a decision that looks even smarter with the new trailer and posters that appeared in our inbox this morning. Downey Jr. plays Peter Highman, an expectant father trying to make it back home before his wife pops out the baby. Enter wannabe actor Ethan Temblay, who ends up giving him a ride across America.
Bringing out the old bromance staples, Todd Phillips' road trip has two things that make it stand out: beardy and mumbly. Together in the same film (alongside Michelle Monaghan and Jamie Foxx), they make what could be a promising partnership. Not so sure on the dog.
Due Date drives into cinemas on Friday 5th November. You can check out the new trailer (plus the first one) over in the videos section, or read on for the full video plus the new character posters - the best being a medley of posters that combine together, Power Rangers-style, to create a Megazord banner.

It was back in April that we first heard rumours about Johnny English 2. But now, the sequel that nobody wanted has claimed its first victims: Dominic West and Rosamund Pike. They each get a free Barclaycard.
It's no surprise they're keen to work on the project. After all, Rowan Atkinson is a top-drawer performer. And Johnny English was clearly the greatest British comedy since A Fish Called Wanda. And anything that St Trinian's director Oliver Parker touches turns straight to solid gold [insert word here].
The Wire's McNulty joins Rowan Atkinson and Gillian Anderson for an escapade that reeks of political correctness: Johnny English will be travelling to China. Yes, the script (by Mr Bean's Holiday writer Hamish McColl) sees the secret agent trying to save the life of China's premier from a group of assassins. Or something.
It starts shooting today before heading to Hong Kong when people have finished throwing tomatoes and cans of dog wee at them.

It's been a while since we heard about the carefully assembled cast for the remake of Fright Night, but finally here's a look at one of them - none other than David Tennant. And he couldn't look less like Dr Who if he tried. Sporting a Jack Sparrow-like mix of eyeliner, facial hair and a massive wig, Tennant plays Peter Vincent, the part originally played by Roddy McDowall. Shifting things a bit from the 1985 cult comedy-horror, Craig Gillespie's update relocates the action from boring suburbia to the bright lights of Las Vegas - a setting which suits Tennant's Vincent, originally an ageing host for the titular TV show, now re-imagined as a stageshow magician.
Incorporating horror movies into his act, Vincent is approached for help by scared youngster Charley (Anton Yelchin), who believes that his neighbour (Colin Farrell) is a vampire. That promising trio are supported by a cast that includes Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Toni Collette, Dave Franco, and Imogen Poots.
While the basic plot has stayed the same, Marti Noxon's script is clearly aiming for something other than the dry humour of McDowall's Vincent. Expect some crazy effects, over-the-top showmanship and a chance for David Tennant to really let rip outside of the TARDIS.
The image appeared online thanks to Shock Till You Drop, who snapped the banners at a Hard Rock Cafe where filming took place. Read on for a big sexy version.

There's nothing like watching killer fish tear humans to bits in 3D. Especially if those humans have boobs. Which is why Piranha 3D got such a good response from critics and will now have a sequel. Piranha 3D 2 (6D?) will no doubt have the same complex combination of fish, blood and Kelly Brook - a formula which notched up $10m in its US opening weekend. It's not a bad figure for a movie which cost around $24m, especially in the comedy horror genre, which never reaps a massive amount in cinemas.
The figure puts it way below Snakes on a Plane's $25m opening and The Expendable's continued box office run, but above Jennifer Aniston's $8.4m for her rom-com The Switch.
Most importantly, Dimension Films are pleased with what they've seen: "After earning rave reviews from top critics, wild cheers from audiences around the country, and $10 million in its opening weekend box office, Dimension Films is pleased to announce that Piranha 3D: The Sequel is in the works."
The studio's statement also quoted Producer Mark Canton, who added that "it’s fantastic that so many critics are really getting the movie and recommending it." You may not believe that statement, but check out Rotten Tomatoes. Piranha 3D has 83%.
All in all, it's great news for Alexandre Aja, who also directed Switchblade Romance, Mirrors and that remake of The Hills Have Eyes. Maybe his career path can follow that of James Cameron, who started his road to Avatar with Piranha 2: The Spawning. If Aja's sequel sees Kelly Brook fighting off flying killer fish, we'll know where the idea came from.
