If you haven't seen Liam Neeson in The Grey yet, here's the entire film summed up in seven seconds:

Liam Neeson does a great job as Abe Simpson, while Joe Carnahan's direction and the superb production design (they sound edit the heck out of that snowy wilderness) nail the existential despair of human survival. At one point Neeson snarls at the sky, demanding answers from someone. The Grey is bare-boned, brutal stuff that doesn't pull its punches. And it's as gripping as hell.

Go and see it now. You won't regret it:

Right after Adrien Brody got fingered for Mr Fantastic, Fox continue to push their franchise reboot forward with a hunt for a director. First out the gates is David Yates.

The Brit helmer, who just finished off Harry Potter for Warner Bros, has proven experience with fantasy franchises, and knows how to balance effects and character. But Yates is also in competition with two other candidates: Joe Carnahan and James McTeigue.

McTeigue, who's currently working on The Raven, is best known as the Wachowski Brothers' protege who directed V for Vendetta. Carnahan, meanwhile, followed up early thriller Narc with the blockbuster fun of The A-Team.

Both have the balls for some hefty action, especially now Marvel are bringing the 3D to everything, but it's hard not to root for Yates. Especially because he gave the world State of Play. Not that anyone at Fox will have seen the original BBC TV series - they're too busy sorting out rumour from fact. And throwing money at whoever will touch Fantastic Four after that Rise of the Silver Surfer malarkey.

We love it when a press conference comes together. Especially if it involves four men accused of a crime they didn't commit, struggling to answer questions after a crazy premiere in London the night before. But answer questions they did, covering everything from quitting smoking to getting a suntan.

They even touched upon the recent decision to axe the UK Film Council, which Liam Neeson (Hannibal) described as "quite appalling".

Neeson was joined by Bradley Cooper (Face), Sharlto Copley (Murdock), Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (B.A.), Jessica Biel (Col. Sosa) and director Joe Carnahan to discuss bringing the iconic 80s TV show back to the modern day.

The A-Team is in cinemas now, and you can read our review over here, but why would you do that when you can hear about Sharlto Copley talking to plants?

I pity the fool who wasn't on the red carpet on Tuesday night, walking around Leicester Square with The A-Team. Which pretty much means I pity myself - although I did get to shout questions at them at the press conference the following morning. You can read about that here.
