Martha Marcy May Marlene

Terrifying and beautiful, this might well be the best film of 2012.

Interview: James Watkins

The director of The Woman in Black and Eden Lake sits down and chats with us about horror, Daniel Radcliffe and 3D.

Review: Acts of Godfrey

84 minutes of rhyming couplets? It sounds well annoying but I actually loved it.

Review: The Descendants

Nice film, shame about the voiceover.

Tinker Tailor Whack-a-Mole

There's a mole at the top of The Circus. Can you bash its face in?

Review: Like Crazy

A superb anti-rom-com that breaks some cliches and obeys others, which only makes it more moving.

Review: Shame

A devastating, magnificent film that trades almost solely in sex – and yet looks right through it.

Review: Coriolanus

Like Olivier and Branagh before him, Fiennes makes Shakespeare as gripping as it ever was. Verily, Voldemort did good.

If Newsreaders Did Shakespeare...

Inspired by Jon Snow's role in Coriolanus, here are some other Shakespeare adaptations starring newsreaders.

Review: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

After Benjamin Button and The Social Network, this feels like Fincher back in Se7en territory. Grizzled, haunting and beautiful.

Woody at the BFI

As the BFI's season of Woody Allen films continues, we look back at some of the director's best (and worst) films.

The Artist

A feel-good treat, pure and simple. You’ll swoon, you’ll sigh, you’ll want to tap dance.

Cinema's new odd couple, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, descended upon London last night for the premiere of Adam McKay's cop comedy, The Other Guys. Leicester Square was cordoned off by police tape as the two unlikely detectives walked the beat down the carpet to the sound of screaming fans.

Despite their arguments over who would win in a fight between a lion and a tuna, the two stars were more than happy to take time out to say hi to the crowds. Looking dapper in their suits (especially Will Ferrell with his afro and sideburns), they were joined by Eva Mendes and Anchorman director McKay to brave London's glorious rain.

The Other Guys sees paperwork-lover Alan Gamble and mentally unhinged Terry Hoitz take the frontline in crime-fighting when the real cops are taken out of the picture. They're incompetent, annoying and drive around in a Toyota Prius.

Fortunately Ferrell and Wahlberg didn't turn up in the Prius last night. Even more fortunate than that, no-one was threatening to jump off any nearby buildings.

The Other Guys is in cinemas on Friday 17th September (our review's over here). Read on to see the water-logged glamour of the premiere for yourself in our lovely rain-soaked video.

Fans lined up along Leicester Square last night to greet Angelina Jolie at the premiere of her latest film, Salt. The actress, who stars in the part famously written for Tom Cruise, smiled as she signed things for the crowds gathering around London's glamourous black carpet.

Salt, an action thriller now with a female lead, sees Jolie arrested for being a Russian spy, despite years of CIA service. On the run and trying to prove her innocence, she faces a slight problem: the more stuff she blows up, the guiltier she looks.

It's a topical subject thanks to recent events, not to mention a physically demanding part, but Jolie was happy to take up the challenge:

"I've done a lot of action movies, but I hadn't done one based in reality..." she explained, as fans shrieked in the background and men threw undergarments at her. Ok, so maybe the last bit's not true.

Like your action stars female and woman-like? Then check out the photos below of Angelina strutting her stuff up and down the black carpet. And, while you're at it, read on for a sexy video of the whole thing too.

Salt is released in cinemas on Wednesday 18th August.

Sylvester Stallone blew away Leicester Square last night with his butch face, sweaty arms and grunting vocal talents. No, he wasn't out for a birthday steak with his mates - it was the UK premiere of The Expendables.

Packed full of action (and as many action stars as you can mention - except for Steven Seagal), it sees Stallone pair up with Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Steve Austin and Arnold Schwarzenegger. And some of them were around to swagger down London's red carpet.

Statham and Lundgren entertained the crowds, along with producer Avi Lerner, but it was all about Sly really: "He knows what he's doing and he knows how to get the best out of someone," enthused The Stath, all big shades and no hair. And if that's the kind of man that turns you on, then our sexy premiere video footage is just what your Tuesday afternoon needs.

The Expendables is out on Thursday 19th August. Our review will be online soon, but in the meantime, check out the trailer over here, or read on to see all the explosive red carpet action.

I pity the fool who wasn't on the red carpet on Tuesday night, walking around Leicester Square with The A-Team. Which pretty much means I pity myself - although I did get to shout questions at them at the press conference the following morning. You can read about that here.

But if mute celebrities are you thing and you get turned on by still photos of Liam Neeson, then rejoice! Yes, we've got a steaming hot selection of sexy photos, of everyone from Jessica Biel and Bradley Cooper to Joe Carnahan, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and District 9's Sharlto Copley. Who sadly didn't come dressed as Braveheart. Or a prawn.

The A-Team is out now in UK cinemas. You can check out our review over here, or read on for the super-pretty photos of the premiere. Or do both. Like one after the other. You can bet Hannibal Smith would approve of that. He loves it when... oh, you get the idea. Here are the pictures:

Hollywood's A-List duo descended upon London last night for the UK premiere of Knight and Day. Arrivving to screaming fans, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz were happy to strut their stuff up and down Leicester Square's red carpet.

Selling their sexy partnership with a shiny dress a big smile, the stars of James Mangold's comedy action caper did justice to their on-screen chemistry - Cameron by flashing her long legs, Cruise by being really, really short.

The film did eventually get shown, but only after Tom had signed lots of people's pieces of paper. And phoned somebody's mum. Because that's what big actors do in London. What did they have to say about Knight and Day? Well, our spiffy video report well tell you that. And save me from typing anything more.

Knight and Day is released on Friday 6th August. You can check out the trailer over here, or read on for the super-shiny premiere footage.

Oh, Leo. Leo Leo Leo. Leo in a tux. Leo out of a tux. I saw everything last night in Leicester Square. Except for that last part. And the fact that I was busy watching The A-Team next door. But our men were filming events as the stars stepped out in London for the premiere of Christopher Nolan's Inception.

The mind-bending sci-fi thriller, which is out in cinemas next Friday (trailers over here), dazzled the capital with its stunning visuals and wonderful cast. But it was the latter on show outside that won over the crowds, who gathered just to get a glimpse of Leonardo in a suit. And out of it too. (NOTE: That bit still didn't happen.)

The sexy Joseph Gordon Levitt, Ellen Page, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Ken Watanabe and Cillian Murphy joined the director and DiCaprio to walk up the Inception-style grey carpet and saunter into the packed cinema. But hey, who wants to just read a list of names when you can watch our lovely video? It even comes complete with the World's Greatest Voice-Over Man.

And if that taste of Inception isn't enough for you - let's face it, it'll never be enough until you've seen the film at least five times - you can still drool over the pretty photos. Because nothing says drooling fanboy like a bunch of glossy pictures. Go on, keep reading for both of them. You know you love it.

The rain poured and the fans screamed, but that didn't stop the stars turning up last night for the premiere of Sherlock Holmes. Led by Robert Downey Jr. (complete with dashing hat), the cast, including Jude Law, Kelly Reilly and Rachel McAdams strolled down the carpet to witness this re-imagining of Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic detective. And you could watch the whole thing live from here.

But if you missed the video stream (there were a few technical issues - it seems Downey Jr. has fitted some kind of lead-coated anti-stalking device), then never fear, check out the best bits below. Yes, you can still enjoy Ritchie's colourful vocals and Jude Law's spotty scarf; Leicester Square never had it so good. Except for when Guy Ritchie went inside.

Read on for the full video (and more pretty pictures), or check out the rather fun trailers over here. We'll give you our official review shortly.
