Mockingjay: Part 1

Turns a political struggle into something thrillingly personal.

The Beat Beneath My Feet

A toe-tapping indie that is, quite simply lovely.

Unbroken

An extraordinary true tale made disappointingly ordinary.

The Battle of the Five Armies

"Why does it hurt so much?" Because the rest of it felt so real.

Watch Up There online on-demand

Zam Salim's Up There, starring Burn Gorman, is a rather enjoyable black comedy about what it's like being dead (hint: it's a lot like being unemployed. In Croydon.) The film is so enjoyable, in fact, that it won Best Director AND Best Film at the Scottish BAFTA awards last night.

The film is currently showing in various UK cinemas, including London's Prince Charles Cinema, but if you can't get to one of those, watch Up There online right here for £8 thanks to the magical power of Distrify:
